Driver of killer truck held, remanded

A day after a mini truck rammed into motorists waiting at a traffic signal here at breakneck speed killing four persons, the driver of the vehicle was arrested and remanded in judicial custody, police said.
R Vignesh, a twenty four year old native of Tiruvannamalai District was arrested and cases under several sections of the IPC was slapped on him.
He was at the wheels at the time of the incident. He hit the motorist from behind.
He was produced before a court which remanded him in judicial custody. The mini truck was seized yesterday itself.
