A total of 250 women would undergo training at the programme, organised by the National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC).
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the minister said the programme is an excellent and unique initiative and it will meet the objective of social and economic empowerment of women by creating job/self-employment opportunities, according to an official statement.
Inaugurating another programme, titled Credit Enhancement Guarantee Scheme for Scheduled Castes, Gehlot said that a sum of Rs 200 crore has been allocated towards credit enhancement guarantee for young and start-up entrepreneurs, belonging to Scheduled Castes.
