The scam took place in 2006 when Sharma was health director.
Under the scheme, several drug kits were purchased for Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) health workers under the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM).
Besides Sharma, Ashok Nanda, head of IPS School here, and employees of one of his firm, Satyendra Sahoo and Yogesh Pateria, and employees of Karnataka Anti-Biotic Limited, M K Nagendra and Deepak Naigaonkar are also named in the chargesheet.
