The suspected drug peddler, identified as Fayaz Ahmad Dar alias "Ade Deaz", was arrested on a specific information from his Ganie Hamam village in Baramulla town, 55 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
Having received a number of complaints against peddlers who were selling drugs to the youths of the town, police started surveillance upon the activities of the suspects.
About 120 grams of 'charas' was seized from Dar, the spokesman said, adding a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act had been registered against him.
Beigh was using the toy gun to intimidate people and extort money from them, the spokesman said, adding he is also a burglar and drug addict.
