"Lal Singh beat his wife to death last night and burnt her body to hide his crime," police station in charge of Badausa, Manoj Pathak said today.
A police team rushed to the crime spot on a complaint made by the family of the deceased.
"The body has been sent for post-mortem and the accused taken into custody," Pathak added.
