DTDC sets up new logistics hub in city

Logistics service provider DTDC today announced the setting up of new hub and office facility as part of its expansion plans.
The hub spread across 18,000 square foot at the Guindy Industrial Estate in city was formally inaugurated by Chairman and Managing Director Subhasish Chakraborty,today.
With the new hub, DTDC has 33 such facilities and 761 franchisees present across the State.
"With the launch of our latest hub and office in Chennai, DTDC has taken a step further in the efforts to establish a strong operational backbone", DTDC Executive Director, Abhishek Chakraborty said in a statement.
Through the extensive penetration into key markets across the country, the company would aim to fulfil the requirements of domestic market, he said.

Bengaluru-headquartered company currently has seven zonal offices, 20 regional offices and 522 operating facilities across the country. It has footprint in US, UK, Canada, Australia, China, UAE, Singapore, the release added.
