The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Financial Cooperation Conference discussed ways to promote dialogue about infrastructure financing and construction, trends in energy supply and demand, cooperation between China and the UAE and working together to establish a safe, secure and efficient financial system for Asia.
The event concluded yesterday. The first BFA event to be staged in the Middle East brought together over 350 high-ranking government officials, global finance leaders, policy makers and academics from across the region.
"By visiting the UAE, delegates have been able to see for themselves the can-do spirit of Dubai and gain a better understanding of the potential opportunities that exist here for them," Cong said.
