"Under the integrated transport system, we are introducing feeder services under which e-rickshaws and vans will be available to pick and drop passengers who live in periphery of the stations," N C Goel, Jaipur Metro Chairman and Managing Director said today
He said the facility will improve connectivity.
"Initially, an e-rickshaw or van will complete its ferry in half-an-hour. We would increase the number of the vehicles if the model becomes successful," he said, adding the vehicles will cover a periphery of 12 km of each station.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is scheduled to inaugurate the Jaipur Metro Rail on Mansarover to Chandpole route on June 3.
