"We have received the compliance report from the state government on transfer of these 23 officials," the OSD in the CEO's office Amit Roy Chowdhury said here.
The 23 officials from different districts were transferred last night on the directive of the EC for inaction and partisan attitude toward the ruling party.
The Election Commission had directed the state government to transfer the officials to non-election related posts.
The officers were put on compulsory waiting list, while the state government submitted a list of officials to the Commission.
Meanwhile, the DMs of the districts going to poll in the second and third phase were asked to give the poll panel an assurance in writing on proper utilisation of central forces for free, fair and peaceful polling, the sources added.
