The first batch of 50 'Smart-E' service will comply on M G Road metro station, Sikanderpur metro station, Cybercity, DLF Phase 2 and 3, among other high footfall areas. The company plans to introduce another 100 'Smart-E' vehicles by April and increase the fleet size to 500 by mid-year and 1,000 by year-end to cover all areas in Gurgaon, release said.
"Citizens of Gurgaon are facing a serious challenge when it comes to safe and reliable last mile transport connectivity. Launch of Smart-E is a step in helping the city address that challenge," Manjul Kumar, official spokesperson of Smart-E service, said.
