Ahluwalia who was earlier summoned by the ED on April 22 and June 22 had not appeared before the ED and sought time but today he reached the ED and was questioned for more than an hour.
Sources in the ED said that Ahluwalia, who was issued the notice under the Foreign Exchange Management act, was given a questionnaire seeking information in respect of his assets and also the alleged transactions abroad.
Ahluwalia reportedly told that the cases had already been scrutinized by the Income Tax department and he would furnish the information sought by the ED.
He earlier remained Private Secretary to Virbhadra Singh during the previous term from 2003 to 2007.
