Elsewhere, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial also fell due to weak demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, linseeds oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil declined by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 860 from Monday's closing of Rs 870 and refined palmolein softened by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 635 as against Rs 637.
Moving to non-edibles section, castorseeds bold moved down by Rs 15 per 100kg to Rs 4,250 as against Rs 4,265 and castoroil commercial edged down by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 880 from Rs 883 previously.
