Edible, non-edible oils rule steady in lacklustre trade

Groundnut oil, refined palmolein, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil prices maintained a stable trend in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 1,090 per 10 kg and Rs 436 per 10 kg, each.
In non-edibles section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil also finished unaltered at Rs 4,160 per 100 kg, Rs 862 and Rs 770 per 10 kg, respectively.
