The altercation took place with Associate Editor Tapan Kumar Das of the daily 'Eho of Arunachal' over publication of election result of an association by members of one of its factions at about 6.35 pm.
He was attacked and four computers were damaged by them. Das was taken to Rama Krishna Mission Hospital here and was later released.
A case was registered.
This is the third attack on the media in Arunachal within a year after the vandalising of Arunachal Times office on April 15 last followed by shooting attempt on its Associate Editor Tongam Rina on July 15 last when she was entering her office.
