Eicher Motors Q2 net profit rises 41% to Rs 222 crore

Eicher Motors today reported 40.89 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 221.83 crore for the second quarter ended June, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 157.44 crore for the same period of previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 2,871.54 crore for the second quarter, as against Rs 2,221.60 crore in the same period of previous financial year, Eicher Motors said in a filing to the BSE.
For the six months ended June 30, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 417.12 crore, as compared to Rs 296.56 crore during the same period of previous fiscal.

Consolidated net sales of the company rose to Rs 5,404.51 crore during the second quarter, as against Rs 4,121.51 crore in the same period of previous fiscal.
Eicher Motors shares today ended 0.32 per cent up at Rs 21,336.55 apiece on the BSE.
