In Patna, the Additional District and Session judge Vijendra Kumar Rai convicted three persons to lifer and imposed a fine of Rs. 10,000 on each after finding them guilty in the murder case of Ajit Kumar Jha four years ago.
According to prosecution, the convicted persons Vijay Singh, Niraj Kumar Singh and Ramanuj Singh had shot dead Jha and dumped his body in a field after abducting him from his house in Vaikunthpur village under Khushrupur police station area in Patna district on October 3, 2009.
The victim's brother Gajendra Yadav had lodged a named FIR against the five convicted persons charging them with the murder case of his elder brother.
