Eight shops in bus stand gutted in fire

: Eight shops at the Broadway bus stand here were gutted in a fire early this morning, police said
The fire occurred in the wee hours of today after a blaze from one shop quickly spread to others, police said adding fire force personnel doused the flames.
A short circuit is suspected to have caused the fire, they said.
