Actress Ekta Kaul, who was last seen in Ekta Kapoor's 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain', will play an RJ in the upcoming episode of romantic series 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui'.
The actress gained fame after starring in 'Rab Se Sohna Isshq' and also participated in the sixth season of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.
In 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui', she will be seen romancing fellow TV actor Alok Narula in a love story between a simple auto rickshaw driver and a RJ.
"'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' is a lovely concept; the emotions and feelings involved in every story are portrayed in a unique and brilliant manner to the viewers. Playing a RJ was definitely a challenge for me. I had to go under some training and listen to radio stations to get hold of my character, and I am happy that the outcome is good," Ekta said in a statement.
The episode will air tomorrow on Bindass.
