The body of an elderly man was found today floating in the Agnitheertham sea, a holy water site close to the famous Lord Ramanathaswamy temple here, police said.
The reason for the death of the unidentified man, with features looking like a north Indian and age estimated to be around 60, was not known, they said.
This is the third body being found in the Agnitheertham area in the last one month.
The temple in the island is thronged by devotees from across the country.
