Elderly man killed, 12 others injured in honey bee attack

A 65-year-old man was killed and 12 others were injured when a swarm of honey bees attacked them while they came to attend a funeral ceremony at a village here.
According to the police, Shankar Lal Meena succumbed to sting injuries while the others were injured when a swarm of honey bees attacked them when they were attending last rites of a relative in Nangal-Susavtaan village of Jaipur district.
The injured were rushed to a community health centre in Amber where Meena died, they said.
Another such incident took place two days back at the Jaipur International Airport's entry point when a swarm of bees attacked passengers and their relatives but no one was hurt.
