A delegation from The Elders, a London-based organisation of independent global leaders, will visit mohalla clinics and polyclinics here on Friday along with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, officials said Wednesday.
Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and deputy chair of The Elders and former prime minister of Norway and former director general of the WHO, Gro Harlem Brundtland will lead the delegation.
"They will visit mohalla clinics and polyclinics on Friday along with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain," a senior official said.
"At present, there are 188 mohalla clinics. The scheme is one of the flagship projects of the Delhi government and efforts are also on to upgrade polyclinics," another official said.
The Elders is an independent group of global leaders working together for peace and human rights.
