Electronics stolen from Mauritius High Commission

A group of unidentified persons allegedly entered into the premises of the Mauritius High Commission here and stole electronic goods from the residence of a senior official, police said today.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC at the Chanakyapuri police station, said a senior official.
According to the police, the theft took place on the wee hours of Monday when the woman official, who is at a senior position at the High Commission office, was sleeping inside her residence.
The alleged thieves evaded multiple levels of security deployed at the High Commission's office. Investigation of the case is underway, the official added.
