TV host Ellen DeGeneres had pulled Jennifer Lopez's leg during her appearance on "The Ellen show" by asking the singer's current relationship status and rumours surrounding her romance with rapper Drake.
Lopez, 47, was linked to the 30-year-old rapper but she insisted it was strictly a music collaboration, reported People magazine.
"We're just hanging out," she said when Ellen projected a super cuddly photo of the pair that prompted her to ask, "Is that how you write a song?"
"Actually he sent me a song he wanted me to be on. Yeah, we have a song together. I don't know what he's going to do with it," Lopez replied.
The diva also played a game of "Who'd You Rather" in which she chose One Direction star Harry Styles as her future boyfriend humorously.
However, she then took a moment to shut down all the people who claim she only dates younger men.
"OK, first of all, stop! I don't date younger men. It's not like you have to be younger. It's not about that. I just meet people, and then if I go out with them, I go out with them.
"And if I like them, I like them. And if I don't, I don't. It's about the person. It's about who they are, it has nothing to do with age," Lopez said.
