Babulal Sharma, employed with a bullion trader, had informed them that two bike-borne men had robbed him of Rs 9.5 lakh when he had gone to buy silver from another shop in the city yesterday evening, Additional Commissioner of Police (Jaipur) Giriraj Meena said.
After intense interrogation by police, Sharma confessed to his crime. He had hatched a conspiracy with two of his accomplices Shankarlal Prajapt and Surgyan Gurjar to loot his employer, the ACP said. The duo were later arrested by the police.
Two other persons allegedly involved in bike thefts and train robbery were arrested from Bhattabasti area, police said, adding that 20 bikes, a laptop and a booty were recovered from their possession.
