Empty train bogie catches fire

An empty coach of a train was badly damaged today after it caught fire at the service yard of Ambala cantonment railway station here, police said.
The coach of Sai Express, which runs between Kalka and Shirdi, was brought to the yard for cleaning and sanitation purpose when the fire broke due to a short circuit in the battery, they said.
The bogie was empty when the incident occurred, police said, adding that half of the coach was badly damaged before the fire was brought under control.
There was no casualty or injury in the incident even as railways has ordered a into the matter, they said.
