Engine with trolley hits bus, none injured

All 30 passengers of a bus escaped unhurt today when it was hit by a locomotive pulling a trolley with railway workers in the middle of a level crossing at nearby Coonoor, police said.
The mishap occurred as the signal was on for the engine although the gate had not been closed, they said.
However, none of the passengers were hurt in the accident, but traffic was paralysed for nearly one hour, police said.
