Engineering student commits suicide in Noida college

Upset over not securing a job during campus placement, an engineering student of an institute at Sector 62 here committed suicide is his hostel, police said today.
Abhinav Gupta, fourth year B.Tech student hailing from Meerut, hanged himself from the ceiling of his hostel room yesterday, Outpost in-charge Salim Ahmed said.
"No suicide note was recovered from the hostel room. We got information about the suicide. We took the body under our possession and has been sent it for post-mortem," he said.
Ahmed said that as per preliminary investigation, job placement as held in the institute and Gupta could was not hired by any company and was upset over this.
