Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today reviewed the status of the ongoing sewerage projects in a meeting here.
He directed the senior officials to expedite the work of installation of Sewerage Treatment Plants (STP) and potable water supply system in all the 163 towns along with 60 nagar panchayats.
Badal also asked the officers of local bodies and water supply and sewerage board to complete the task by February 2015.
The deputy chief minister also said that Punjab Engineering College will be the independent agency for quality control.
