Filmmaker Steven Spielberg gave a casual hint at making "Indiana Jones V" with Harrison Ford on board to reprise his role.
The 68-year-old Oscar-winning director, who was promoting his film "Bridge of Spies" with lead actor Tom Hanks, joked about the fifth part of "Indiana Jones" saga while talking about his habit of making movies with the same leading actors again and again, reported Aceshowbiz.
"We've gotta figure this out because now Tom is tied with Harrison Ford. Harrison and I did four movies, Tom and I have done four movies. Now I'll probably do an 'Indy 5' with Harrison. It'll be five for Harrison, four for Tom
"(Then) I've got to make another one with Tom, so that will be five for Tom, five for Harrison. And I think I'm going to leapfrog that way for the rest of my career. With Daniel Day-Lewis in everything else!," Spielberg said jokingly.
Back in May, Kathleen Kennedy, President, Lucasfilm stated her plans for a fifth movie.
However, she said the work on the script had not even started.
Created by Geroge Lucas, four movies including, "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom", "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and 2008 film "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" have been made under the franchise.
Steven Spielberg, has helmed all the four projects with 73-year-old Ford playing the lead.
