Bhure Lal, the chairman of the Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority or the EPCA, directed the authorities to brief realtors about environment guidelines next week, and initiate action if any violation is found thereafter.
He said construction waste was lying along roads, leading to air pollution.
The authorities have been instructed to strictly implement environment protection laws to check pollution.
He said the situation in Ghaziabad was worse.
He said he would visit Ghaziabad next week.
