The firm had reported a net profit of Rs 37.76 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago, Eros International informed BSE.
However, total income during the quarter under review was marginally down by 0.97 per cent to Rs 332.12 crore as against Rs 335.38 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
Total expenses was down 25.17 per cent to Rs 203.18 crore as against Rs 271.54 crore.
Shares of Eros International Media today closed 6.55 per cent up at Rs 199.95 apiece on BSE.
