The company had posted net profit of Rs 28.31 crore in the October-December quarter last year, Essel Propack said in a filing to the BSE.
The total consolidated income from operations during the quarter under review also increased 5.70 per cent to Rs 567.39 crore as against Rs 536.77 crore of the same period last fiscal.
The company scrip closed at Rs 127.45, down 0.27 per cent, on the BSE.
