In a directive, Gogoi said that essential services like fire brigades, ambulances, should not be stopped in the name of security to the Chief Minister's convoy causing inconveniences to the people in need, a government release said today.
The order will come into force with immediate effect, the release said.
On the completion of one-year by the NDA government and its reported promise to bring 'acche din' (good days) back, Gogoi today tweeted that 'acche din' has ambivalently come only to Modi supporters and big industrialists.
