ETI Dynamics today said it has inked a pact with Shapoorji Pallonji & Company (SPCPL) to work in areas providing green infrastructure solutions like waste-water treatment and renewable energy and would initially work on projects worth over Rs 1,000 crore.
"The two organisations have agreed to collaborate in developing an initial portfolio of three projects already secured in the stated segments amounting to over Rs 1,000 crores," ETI Dynamics said in a statement.
It added, "The portfolio will be expanded beyond India to Africa, Middle East and South East Asia in subsequent years."
The partnership will focus on using innovative technologies, advanced engineering techniques and operational excellence in development of green projects with the objective of meeting sustainable development goals, it said.
"This partnership is a strong strategic fit, offering a unique proposition, leveraging mutual strengths, to jointly develop best in class sustainable infrastructures," ETI Dynamics COO Rajneesh Wadhwa said.
SPCPL's Head Water Business Reby Thomas said, "Our collaboration with ETI Dynamics comes at a right time when Government of India is implementing their ambitious projects like Clean Ganga Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission, Smart Cities, etc which will help the partners take an active step with the Government to building a sustainable infrastructure for the future of this country."
ETI Dynamics will focus its efforts on channelling long term, low cost concessionary finance while SPCPL will focus its energies on constructing infrastructure, the statement said.
The statement added that the collaboration with both the companies opens various avenues and creates exciting opportunities in this sector.
"Both organizations have always been conscious of the impact they create on the environment and society. Using local resources, eliminating waste, reuse and recycle are philosophies that have been embedded into the work processes," the statement said.
