The book, called "Geological Hand Notes of Wen Jiabao", will now be available in the nation's bookstores.
73-year-old Wen, who served as the sixth Chinese premier and regarded as the leading figure behind Beijing's economic policy, was a geological sciences major in college.
The book is a collection of excerpts from Wen's extensive notes, 24 memoirs, and some 50 photographs taken from 1968 to 1985, when he worked as an engineer and administrator in the geological system, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
All of the hand-written notes, memoirs and photos are being made public for the first time.
