Ex-Congress MLA dead

Former Congress MLA Devchandra Jha
today died at a private hospital in New Delhi after prolonged illness, his family said.
He was 90.
Jha is survived by five sons and a daughter.
He represented Jhanjharpur assembly seat in Madhubani district between 1957 and 1962 after getting elected on the Congress ticket.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar while condoling his death said, "Jha will be remembered as a respected politician who served the people of Bihar with sincerity.
