Sandhu had surrendered before the anti-corruption bureau yesterday after his anticipatory bail application was rejected by the Supreme Court, sending him to judicial custody.
The court had also directed investigating officer Bajran Singh to appear before the court today with the case diary. The ACB today sought police remand for Sandhu which was granted by the court.
He will be produced in the court on May 16, IG ACB V K Singh said.
Sandhu, who was the Additional Principal Secretary,Urban Development and Housing (UDH) in 2011, was served notices but he did not turn up and got interim bail after which he appeared before the ACB in March.
The matter was later probed by the ACB which arrested Rajasthan Administrative Service officer Nishkam Diwakar, company owner Shailendra Garg and interrogated former UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal in October last year.
