Former MP Maran
Singh Purty died in his native village Barukuti in West Singhbhum district today, family sources said.
Purty, who died at 92, had won from Singhbhum (reserved) parliamentary constituency on Jharkhand Party ticket in 1971.
The end came during 3.30 am as he suffered a massive cardiac arrest, the sources said.
Purty left behind seven daughters and three sons.
