CBI sources said the two were apprehended yesterday following a complaint by a bidi factory owner.
A trap was laid out and one of the officials and the lawyer, who was working for them, was caught red handed accepting bribe from the complainant.
The three were produced at the CBO court in Asansol. One of the officials was given bail for his ill health, while the other two were remaded to jail custody for 14 days, the sources added.
