Welfare and Tourism Minister P.Rajavelu told reporters here today that government undertakings were extending loans to a number of beneficiaries to launch self employment projects over the years.
The products made by the beneficiaries would be displayed at the exhibition cum sale.
He said loans were provided by Puducherry Corporation for Development of BCs and Minorities, the Puducherry Khadi and Industries Board, the Adi Dravidar Welfare Corporation, District Rural Development Agency and the Corporation for Development of Women and Handicapped over the years to enable the self employed skilled persons to produce various products.
Chief Minister N Rangasamwy will inaugurate the fair.
