Explosives recovered in Silchar

A huge quantity of explosives was recovered from the house of a man who along with his two sons and another person were arrested in this connection in Assam's Cachar district today.
Based on a tip off, police raided the house of one Mostar Ali Laskar in Tolargram Part Two this morning and recovered the explosives, Superintendent of Police Rajbir Singh said.
An Improvised Explosive Device (IED), weighing three kg, a large quantity of gelatin sticks, one detonator, fuse wire and map of a vital bridge were recovered from the house.
Stating that their interrogation was in progress, he said police was investigating if the four persons had links with Jehadi or Manipur based ultra outfits.
