Based on a tip-off, Kunche Maisaiah (50) of Kamalapur Road village under Dharmapuri police station limits was arrested from his residence last night, Jagtial Deputy Superintendent of Police M Rajendra Prasad said.
"During his interrogation, Maisaiah revealed to the police that he has stored about 1,200 slurry sticks and 1,000 detonators at his agricultural field at Timmapur village of Dharmapuri mandal, nearly 70 KM from here," Prasad said.
After the seizure of the explosive material, Maisaiah led the police team to the residence of one K Mallesh (35) in the same village, from where police seized 119 slurry sticks and two detonators.
