While Jharkhand Chief Minister has already confirmed his participation in the meeting, other CMs are yet to take a decision on attending the EZC meeting, they said.
Besides CMs, the Chief Secretaries of the four eastern states and senior secretaries and police officers were scheduled to attend the meeting to be held at the secretariat.
Top officers of the Planning Commission and some officials of Central Ministries are also likely attend the meeting.
The last EZC meeting was held at Ranchi in 2007. This time Odisha was hosting the EZC meeting here preparations for which were in full swing.
While Shinde is the Chairman of EZC, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is the Vice Chairman of EZC.
