Fadnavis condoles Anand Yadav's demise

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today condoled the demise of noted litterateur Anand Yadav who passed away in Pune.
The 80-year-old author and Sahitya Akademi awardee breathed his last at his residence last night.
"Dr Anand Yadav's demise is a big loss. He was a great writer who had beautifully created some best books about rural social life," Fadnavis said in a statement.
Yadav captured the transition and transformation in the agricultural society in his literature and created a perfect picture before the readers, the CM said.
His life was full of struggle and he succeeded in effectively representing the woes and sorrows of rural folk. Marathi literature and readers will always miss him for unique empathy for village people and their lifestyle, Fadnavis added.

Yadav's autobiography 'Zombi' had won Sahitya Akadmi award in 1991.
He had penned around 40 books comprising collection of essays, poems, among others. Marathi movie 'Natrang' based on Yadav's novel with the same name had garnered lot of critical acclaim.
