Fake currency racket busted in Jammu, three held

Police today claimed to have busted a fake currency racket with the arrest of three people and seizure of counterfeit notes of face value Rs 82,000.

The arrests were made after receiving a from a man yesterday who claimed that Rs 75,000 he received after selling a mobile phone were in fake notes, a police official said.

"After hectic efforts, some suspects were rounded up and put to sustained questioning," he said adding it led to the arrest of the three accused Rohit Kumar, Sahil Kumar and Gharu Ram
