Fake travel agent booked

A fake travel agent was booked today for allegedly duping a person on the pretext of sending his son to Afghanistan, police said today.
Jaswinder Kalsi allegedly took Rs 1.60 lakh from Resham Singh of village Safdarpur Kullian in lieu of travel costs for his son Bhupinder Singh to go to Afghanistan, they said.
Neither were the travelling arrangements made for Bhupinder to go abroard nor was the money returned, police said, adding that the accused is absconding.
