Sachin Sanghe, a micro-sculpture artist carved Bachchan's face on a pencil lead and shared the picture with him.
"Dear Sir, A PORTRAIT SCULPTURE ON PENCIL LEAD FOR U! 8hrs of effort!! Hope you like it!" he tweeted to the "Piku" star.
Bachchan, 72, who was amazed after seeing the creation immediately retweeted the post.
"Are baap re... This is amazing !! Thank you so much !!" he wrote.
"Roy" actor Arjun Rampal was also surprised to see the art and ended up asking if the creation was real.
After receiving appreciation from his favourite actor Sachin Sanghe posted his other creations including Bachchan's look in "Piku".
