Farmer murdered by six in Raj

A 45-year-old farmer was allegedly murdered by six persons when he was sleeping in his farm in Tonk district in Rajasthan.
Ramcharan, who was sleeping in his farm along with other family members, was attacked by six persons with sharp-edged weapons last night, Circle Officer Uniyara, Sahdev Kavia said.
Two of the alleged accused have been identified as Rupamkesh and Jairam who have been detained for questioning, he said, adding, reasons of the murder are not clear yet.
The locals of Salatpura village today blocked Tonk-Sawaimadhopur road for nearly an hour in protest of the incident.
They were pacified and the road was reopened, Kavia said.

Efforts are on to identify and nab other accused, he added.
