Presidents of all the eight farmers' unions and four farm labourers' organisations will hold a meeting here tomorrow.
Disclosing this here today, BKU (Ekta) General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokari said that the Punjab government was not sincere in accepting farmers' demand.
The main demands of farmers include Rs 40,000 per acre compensation to the loss of cotton by the whitefly, Rs 20,000 to farm labourers, Rs five lakh compensation to the families of farmers who committed suicides.
Earlier, the farmers' unions have staged 'Rail Roko' agitation and also gheraoed various Punjab ministers houses.
