The AVRO HS-748 (India), Dornier-228 (Germany), Antonov-32 (Russia) and Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv (India), which were inducted into the IAF were displayed on the occasion.
The AIRFEST, part of 69th Independence Day celebrations, also showed various planes, helicopters, weapons used by the IAF with a large number visitors watching them from close.
A team of four helicopters displayed various feats in the air, particularly the aerobatic might of IAF Team 'Sarang'.
"We also showed our talent internationally by taking part in Singapore, Germany and UK since the induction of the team in 2003," he said.
The team was also involved in more than 50 rescue operations across India, significantly during the floods in Kedarnath and Hogenakkal, he said.
